The Last Chance...

I have been thwarted on many occasions in my attempts to blip this woodpecker... and today was my last chance as this is the last feeder of peanuts we will be putting out until autumn. It has been a great excuse to laze around while I staked out the bird feeder and worthwhile in the end!

The garden birds will now be left to fend for themselves through the summer. Meanwhile the first of our offspring has just returned to the nest for a while. What's the betting she will require rather more than the odd peanut!
