Generational storm no match for Ottawacker Jr.

As we brace down for the "generational storm" our hyperbolic weather forecasters keep talking about, we hunkered down and started preparations for Christmas. Ottawacker Jr. got the added bonus of a "snow day" from school, so he was sent out to wander around and get the wnow off the drives. We had the first of the mixture of rain and ice and snow and flash freezes. We might have escaped the worst of it so far, but it's coming. Slowly and surely.

So I cooked the turkey in advance of tomorrow's Christmas Eve celebration - Mrs. Ottawacker's family, being of Danish extraction, prefer the 24th. And so, I have to say, do I. Ottawacker Jr. graduated from drive clearing and cat feeding to fort building, nacho eating and movie watching with friends. A much better way to enjoy the snow.
