From the bathroom window

I was standing looking at it - I like this view, whether the trees are bare, or full of leaves and making a green wall. This morning, the twigs and branches were all dripping wet, and at the same time lit up from the side by the low morning sun. And some mist in the middle distance, down the slope.  An ok day, getting ready, wrapping presents and so on. The second lot of jam was a great success. The jam thermometer worked a treat.
