Blooming Fatsia

I had a very long list of houses to visit, so an interesting garden here and there fairly brightens the day. 

I had to pause to admire this Fatsia. I always love them for their leaves and had not realised that they come into bloom so late in the year.

The Fatsia owner said she was thrilled with its performance. It doesn't usually have this number of blooms. Perhaps there has been something about the year's weather that has really suited it.
