Not The Dickens
Like a caged animal released into the wild, I was given time off today.
It was bliss.
After a full morning tidying up and cleaning windows I had a most agreeable time strolling the streets of delectable Ludlow.
A wonderful Christmas ambiance with happy people calling Christmas greetings, church bells ringing and fairy lights bedecking the quaint medieval streets. It was fab.
The blip shows the Butter Cross at the top end of Broad Street. It was built in the 18th century as a market hall but is now home to Ludlow Museum.
There are 500 listed buildings in Ludlow and also in the image is one of the many timber framed buildings that can be seen all around the town. It's definitely listing!
I fondly remembered a girlfriend many Christmases ago. She was pretty but she had a lazy eye. Turns out she was seeing someone else....
Hope you all have a wonderful, happy and peaceful Christmas.
Joyeux noel!
