Oh Christmas Tree

On drinking a glass of water (something stronger would wait for later) I happened to look through the bottom of the glass and thought …….. there is today’s blip.

So the photos I took on a short walk around Risley Moss late morning did not make todays main blip. It’s been a beautiful day - sunny, blue skies and 9°c. I had a look at the fallen tree, in which honey bees have set up home. They were active (extra), which was a surprise. Where can they be foraging in mid winter ?
