Christmas Eve

Does it ever happen to you that everything looks fine through the viewfinder, but when you see the photo downloaded to the computer, it is completely out of focus.

Maybe not. It happened to me this evening. Luckily I had a backup.

This evening we had our traditional Christmas Eve dinner at Malmaison. The corridor from the bar to the restaurant was beautifully decorated, but the photo was hopeless. I had taken a picture just before I went in. It is not fantastic, but at least it is in focus.

Very nice dinner, both the bar and the restaurant seemed reasonably busy. Nice to see places doing some business these days. Quite a few gave the impression of being there as residents, even better for profitability.
