I heard a crash a moment ago so I ran outside and found that this had fallen onto the roof and then onto the ground. Not too much damage done thank goodness, so I've placed it in the safest place I could think of - behind the nativity in a glass case.
Poor old Santa! Fancy dropping his timepiece at five to midnight just as he was crossing the Greenwich meridian! He's only halfway round! He won't be popping down this chimney to retrieve it – no children here at all, neither nasty nor nice.
