It begins

Earlyish start preparing hasselback potatoes before driving down to Ps. Helped him have a shave (he looked like Santa Claus!) and hoovered up then prepared his lunch. Chatted about presents he’s ordered for AR and Mx, problems with logging onto Sainsburys and his Christmas cards for neighbours that he wants me to deliver. After he’d finished lunch I left him to write those cards and I’ll take them round tomorrow.
I’ve got quite a sore back - obviously pulled a muscle yesterday, probably loading the car up, and then sitting still driving down didn’t help, and today it’s been pretty painful especially in some positions/movements. Great!
Drove back and T was up but looking pretty wrecked. Once G, J and J arrived we tucked into nibbles and clementine G&Ts then roast rib of beef and all the trimmings. Delicious!
Afterwards, T went to bed and J had a lie down too and the rest of us chatted, watched some Christmas animations then had desserts before playing a couple of games of Scrabble. T back out to the club, praying for a quiet night and an early return to his bed, and the rest all left not long after. Kt and I planned out the cooking for tomorrow morning then turned in…
