Kamikaze Girls

Sometimes, I suggest silly things for shoots and they come off in spectacular ways. I'd arranged to shoot with two of the performers from the pole dancing group, The Kamikaze Girls. As per usual the weather didn't want to play ball so we had to hastily think of new covered locations for the photos that we were going to take. The choice was either inside an Edinburgh flat or in the Rodney Street Tunnel, a fairly busy public footpath with plenty of cyclists, walkers and the odd drunk. You can guess which one of the two we decided to erect the pole and shoot in!

This is one of the gorgeous portraits I got of Aurora and Poppy and the black and white treatment really suits the dark background of the railway tunnel. There will be more of the images from this shoot popping up on my Facebook page at some stage in the next week but this is a little taster.
