Box Brownie No. 2 Camera

Well Merry Christmas to all, today I am taking the easy way out and posting an image created indoors.  This camera was my mother's so it has sentimental value to me and indeed may have been a factor in stimulating my interest in photography.

I have vague memories of my mother using this camera.  It went into production in 1901 and sold for a dollar.  Production ceased in 1935, the image here is of the model that were sold in the UK from 1931.

Often I have thought of putting a roll of film through it, the shutter still operates perfectly.  Would be fun to post it on Blip!!
