Away in a manger

I shot our stable scene early this morning before the sun was up. It forms the central part of the tableau which sits on our wide hall window each Christmas, and in a few days’ time I will be blipping the three wise men who have been following the star to find where the Christ child was born.

It’s been a lovely, tiring, messy and joyful Christmas day. I’ve slipped out while our granddaughters are having their tea to post my blip, and to wish everyone the precious gifts of love and peace this Christmas tide.
