Cocktail #49 of 50: Satan’s Whiskers

An ill timed cocktail for Christmas regarding the name, otherwise complex but excellent:
1.5 measures gin
0.5 grand marnier
0.5 sweet vermouth
0.5 dry vermouth
1.5 measures fresh orange
2 dashes orange bitters

The big highlight of today was finally reaching Santa Monica pier and completing the Route 66 Challenge by the skin of my teeth on this morning’s cycle. 2280 miles cycled and walked in my year of being 50! It was a stretch challenge and I’m really proud to have completed it!

Otherwise a relaxing day. Having dinner yesterday was a master stroke. So nice to have no pressure today and enjoy the leftovers.
