This bluejay wanted to be shy this morning, after he stole a peanut that a squirrel had just buried. I love watching the squirrels rolling around on the ground fighting with each other over the peanuts. Usually if 2 of them are fighting a third one will come and grab the peanut. Today, one of the bluejays watched a squirrel hiding a peanut and he swooped down and grabbed it, he likely hid it somewhere else, then came back looking for more.
I have a couple of pieces of turkey in the oven for supper. My roommates and a friend will join me. Depending on what time my friend leaves, I may try to call my sister in New Brunswick and my niece in Manitoba this evening.
