Christmas dinner …

Or lunch to be more precise. This year just the 4 of us.

Bruce & Jenny, Tom and Sandy popped in earlier in the morning, great to see them. We might join either of the families later, but not sure.

Morning was spent opening some lovely presents, then visit with family, and finally getting lunch on the way.
Martin had put in the turkey at 8am so it was ready by 10:30, and then resting for 2 hrs.

Lunch over, we took a nap, which was the first time we were able to do that as usually our house would be full of guests! But this was different and nice :).

We then had some time on the patio, and just talked about the year that’s been and our hopes for 2023.

Then a quick drive around Peregian Springs to see the Christmas lights before dinner and another Christmas movie.
