Merry Christmas!

A sunny walk along the front mid-morning, a stop for 'pao quente' (grilled bread doesn't sound as good!) and coffee, phone calls with family in Scotland and then the special Christmas lunch at Copacabana Palace made for a lovely Christmas day.  The buffet was as special as we remembered and the two singers were excellent, switching easily between Bossa Nova and classics like Hallelujah and Killing Me Softly. There  was a real feeling of celebration and we were very grateful to be there. Merry Christmas to everyone!
