Merry Christmas From FBC!

We gathered at FBC on Christmas morning to celebrate the birth of Jesus.  The service began with the mixed ensemble I sing in, Jubilate, singing one of our new songs this year entitled "Wonderful Love"  After that, the choir sang another lively selection from our Christmas performance two weeks ago, "Worship His Glory, Worship The King!" The congregation joined hearts and voices in some Christmas carols just before Pastor Wes took us into Chapter 2 of Luke, verses 21-40 to see the events that took place after the birth of Jesus, including  the visitors that we are quite familiar with, like the shepherds, and some people that Joseph and Mary meet  when they present Jesus at the temple for the first time that we may not be so familiar with such as Simeon and Anna.  All are important in the life of Jesus and the history of God"s fulfillment of His promise to provide a way for man to be redeemed from his sin, so that we could be adopted into God's family to spend eternity with Him.  Pastor Wes does a great job of putting the whole picture together for us in the Livestream if you take the time to watch it,  Merry Christmas with many blessings to you on this last Sunday of 2022---next Sunday is the start of 2023!
