Leaves in the creek

Out for a walk today and saw this little scene. Met several fellow park residents; everyone cheerful and happy it was Christmas. In the afternoon I had a lovely visit with I haven't seen in awhile.
There were King Tides today at the beach in Capitola. I wanted to go at low tide, so I could walk out into the tide pool area and see star fish, hermit crabs and other tide pool denizens, but I never got there. Maybe tomorrow.
