This morning our visitor wanted to visit the source of the Riwaka River. Walking along the short track under the tree canopy was pleasant and a relief from the hot sunshine.

In the opposite direction and below the carpark I found these fungi growing on a huge tree stump.

After a busy day yesterday I have enjoyed a quieter relaxing Boxing Day.
