The Broons

We were all up early today for the wedding, I went down to get the flowers then I picked Hayley up. I then took Cheryl and Hayley to the hairdressers.

We arrived at the Rosslyn Chapel at 12.30 and mingled with the other guests then witnessed a beautiful service of the marriage of Robert and Laura. It was then off to Oxenfoord Castle for the reception. It was a brilliant meal, all the drinks were free and it was a magic band who played everything.

Our meal was Smoked Ham and Butternut Squash soup, Slow Braised Beef with Haggis and Parsley Mash and Wild Mushrooms with a Whisky Sauce. Our dessert was a trio of Mini Cranachan, Irn Bru Sorbet and Laura's Fudge Cheesecake followed by tea or coffee and Tablet.

We partied away till the taxi came for us at midnight. The blip is of us all, the Broons - Cheryl, myself, Hayley and Euan with Gavin centre front, the rogues gallery.

When we were at the wedding, our team was playing in the top of table clash and we were getting regular updates and I'm happy to say that we won 2-0 so we can win the league on wednesday night now against Gretna. So you could say, it was a double celebration and us Broons certainly know how to party.

Glad to say I'm feeling much better today thank goodness and thanks to all of you for your good wishes.
