Today in the parking area.

I’ve been on the phone to a dear friend. He got me a book for Christmas and already wants to know if I like it. I told him it was a good choice and he seemed happy. It’s cold and sleeting so I’ve only gone as far as the local shop. On the way I shouted ‘Hiya,’ across the car park to a neighbour with her kiddies and got a cheerful ‘Hi,’ back. This was very nice as she seems quite shy and one has to make the effort to engage her. Two good things already and there is more than half the day to go.
