Boxing Day walk

It has been lovely having No.2 staying over the last few days.  He rarely stays, preferring his own bed, so having him stay for the last 4 days has been lovely.  The sun was shining and we had a river walk (No1 didn't join us as she was resting at home, saving energy) before ham and eggs and OH and No.2 departing to watch football.  If No.1 was not poorly we would all have gone and cheered the team on ........ maybe next year?  No.1 and JC had a drive out to Batemans (NT) and I did some cleaning and sorting out, then had a long bath and watched a film.  Quiet afternoon with nobody around and not the usual Boxing day but we are in different times for a while.
