Life on the Mothership!

PippaD was better behaved!

PippaD’s mum has been putting out the last two days and I’ve been bringing in. Today PippaD was much safer to bring in. Molly was up a height and after this shot was snorting around the yard. Note the head collar as I knew she was likely to be up! The hunt had been along the road a while earlier and the wind was getting up. In my celebration at us both getting home in one piece I hoisted him up to go on changing bench and forgot to disconnect his gastrostomy button from his feed tube and pulled his button out! Last time this happened was on Dublin port at midnight waiting for the ferry in 2016 or 2017. So not too bad. Luckily it has been in situ for a few months so was more easily squashed through the hole! Big Fish looked shocked but not in agony and was fine straight after. New button now in situ. Luckily I’ve been trained to replace.
