Boxing Day sunshine
Nice day for a run around the countryside.
This view is of the 'Vale of Heathfield', a scene painted by JMW Turner around 1815.
As seen in the extra, Turner repositioned some of the local landmarks and made them more prominent, particularly Heathfield Church, Gibraltar Tower (just visible on horizon above the telegraph pole in my pic) and Heathfield House.
I did manage to get one up on Turner; he didn't have a pair of buzzards in his view. You'll have to look closely on mine to see them above the church spire (inadequate camera!).
