Celebrations

After a day in which our friends S & S did a sterling job of helping R do two good van loads of moving belongings to the new house… we stopped this evening for a takeaway from the local Indian restaurant in the village which was superb! We washed it down with celebratory champagne!

We also brought our border collie across for his first introduction to the house.

We’re fortunate that we can stagger the move in, so we’re now stopping till the 27th and having some down time for Christmas and will continue the move in then.

Tonight is the first night we actually stop at the house, however it’s on a mattress as R isn’t quite sure what he did with the fixings for the bed!! They’ll be in a safe place…

It’s the first time we’ve seen the majority of our belongings in 18 months as they’ve been safely entrenched in storage!
