Boxing day

Today finished well with a visit to my daughter Lucy’s house for dinner this evening. Here we are playing a game of dobble with Autumn. However, the journey to Lucy’s was awful. I managed to hit a pothole which sent me into the kerb resulting in a split in my tyre. I rang the RAC who came after and arranged for someone to come and fit me a new tyre (my car doesn’t have a spare). All in all we sat in the car for over four hours and got very very cold. New tyre and fitting cost me £198 but at least it’s been done! What a day.
