Red sky in the morning....

Helen is away in Belfast, Gus is in Edinburgh and Orla is in Argentina - missing all the freezing weather. Charlton parkrun was cancelled yesterday because of hardpacked ice on the path portions of the circuit. So I got up and went for a run myself, sticking to main roads that were relatively clear of ice and snow. Managed 15km at a gentle pace.

Today was World Cup Final day - I work early as a strange red light shone through a gap in the curtains. Later, I went to the River Ale House to watch the Final - sharing updates with family, including my daughter, later surrounded by 100s of celebrating Argentinians!
