That was a surprise
Thank you to all who commented or starred yesterday’s entry. I always feel some trepidation when I write a little blip-poem and push the publish button. Some things fly and others fall flat in the compression of blip-time and I’m often in a dither if what sounds ok to me will sound so to others.
Boxing Day is another day and the ham came good after long cooking. A bit salty for me the cook who’d plumped for roasting rather than gently simmering with a final blast in the oven. But much appreciated by the eight others.
One dramatic snow flurry came through around two pm but didn’t settle. Dodgy and patchy black ice first thing this morning.
