Puff Pancakes and Big Smiles

Puff Pancakes (Dutch Babies, German pancakes, Dutch puffs) and bacon have become our traditional breakfast on Christmas Day. When the grandkids were little it was always: "Do you want to eat first or open presents first?" Nowadays they usually opt to begin with food. The younger folks have many visits to make over the day, so breakfast kinda morphed into lunch, but here we are, happily at the table (Treekeeper, my son; J, the boyfriend of L, the granddaughter--dressed in matching festive onesies; and Mr S).
