Nothings Gonna Stop Us

Apologies for the really bad photo, but in all honestly, this sums up the state we were in.

After a 7.15 start, to get ready for the 815 pickups.   We were advised at reception that the pick up would be at 915.  Plenty of time for breakfast which we abused fantastically well.  You would be proud of how the Cruses can accumulate food when it's free to take.

We waited for another 45 minutes after the alloted time, before the first bus turned up.

Finally got to air port - same crew  all refreshed and pouty waiting for us.  Fresh water on board, but no facilities offered.  We flew straight to Madeira and on to the other runway.  No Issues. Massive cheer from passengers when we finally got down.

No customs, no clearance - European to European flight.

On to bus twenty minutes - at hotel.

Nothing not an acknowledgement that we had been travelling for 32 hours.

Heyho.

So we disembarked to the room, loved it and the balcony, and the pook and headed straight down to the pool for a drink.

Sunset bar - and we only just caught it, 6pm.  A day and a half after we should have been there.

Then we ate, bountifully again, and headed to the bar for entertainment, where this picture was taken.   After, four wines, three Blue Lagoons, a Tequilla Sunset,  Long Slow Screw, Prosecco, Baileys.   And anything Else Tooli ordered and then refused to drink,

We had a man and a guitar, and he was highly entertaining. So entertaining that Himself was singing (I have it on Video)....  (Or was it just that we were soooo drunk.

Dearie me.

Tooli excused herself at 11 and Himself and I sat for a further 45 minutes of non-stop drinking of anything which was put in front of us. and then tried to find our way to bed.

Tooli was Fast Asleep, she informed us as we bounded into the room.

Strike Three.
