Mono Monday: Week 466 ...

... raindrops.

Well ... raindrops formed this pond and the cold weather froze it solid!  That's my story and I'm sticking to it!  Thanks to Carolina for being our final host of 2022!

We got out this afternoon for a walk at Plainfield Rail Trail.  The weather was nicer (a bit warmer) than yesterday and the wind wasn't as bitter.  The trail is protected a bit from wind by the tall trees along the path.  We were hoping to see Wilbur and Jenny walking as we thought we saw their car but sadly we didn't.  Maybe next time ...

On the way home we saw this group of skaters on Green Pond.  They are braver than me as I would never venture out on a frozen pond/lake ... especially this early in the winter season.  I did a quick drive-by shooting ... blip done!
