A ‘doing’ day

No fixed plans for today but as yesterday when Eda was building her Mickey Mouse Lego fire station over breakfast today she had daddy helping to make pipe cleaner creatures. Godmother Zoe sent Eda a box full of materials for crafting for Christmas. 
She made a dragonfly, rabbit, spider and a dragon. The spider is now hanging up in the kitchen. Later they also made flower rings one for each of them.

It was a reasonably fine morning but it had just started to rain as Grace and Chris went out to use the compost and pots bought last week to plant spring bulbs. They were able to do quite a bit of it on the garage fortunately.

Meanwhile I was inside with the girls who were watching Moana from the flat pack car and boat that John made many years ago when Eda was quite small. They were marketed for a while. 
Jude was making me cups of coffee with her tea set but here she’s offering me chips!

It was funny getting Jude to watch Moana, she either wants Gruffalo’s Child or Frozen at the moment. She kept asking where Elsa and Anna were and then concluded that Elsa was asleep.

Heavy rain this afternoon but John still went out running and then Grace and I did pop into town just to go to Anthropologie. She was wanting something for a friend’s birthday but of course ended up with two things for herself as well!

The spider is now dangling above the steps between the kitchen and the utility room ready for the unsuspecting passer by!
