Last Light

A windy drizzly day meant there was little desire to go out, but I drove into Monmouth, South Wales, mid afternoon to buy a loaf of bread and get a blip photograph.

I took a detour along Mansons Lane, on the outskirts of Monmouth that has lovely views over the Welsh Mountains and crosses the border from Wales into England. It was last light and no chance of any sunset colours due to the rain and grey sky. The photo' shows the last light and I like the subtle lines and hues that run through it towards The Welsh Hills.

We were die to go out tonight but with the awful weather we're more than happy to stay inside and watch tv
