Not the tropics…

"Not-a-Formium" either.
(; ¬ o)
"Back in the day" whenever that day was, we first experienced Formium.  NO! Not Fermium, Formiums ain't radioactive plants; another added to the illiterate Spill Chucker's lexicon.   For some time, before we got it ID-ed it was referred to as it's a "not-a Formium.

And, as for the Tropics - Edinburgh is a wee bit North to qualify I'd say.  Certainly a sight less tropical than this shot from S. Scotland over to the Isle of Man in mid 2014?

Edinburgh - day one.
Ever since Alice died, even in high lock-down, I've been fortunate enough to be not alone over Christmas day; the norm, after year one, has been a 4-5 day gathering o' The Clan at Jerra/Clicky's offspring; this year it was in Edinburgh in lieu of Sheffield and only 1/2 strength.
Many THANKS to the Rail-workers who, apparently, didn't really want to inconvenience people - SO - decide to strike at times guaranteed to most inconvenience folk.  That said I don't, really, blame them; or the NHS staff for wanting to, at least keep in the same ball park as the rest of humanity.

Just F Y I - I stuck the pin in the middle of Edinburgh for those tiny few "furriners" who MAY have less than perfect Geography.
