Are you familiar with this "spark"?

The wooden thing to the right is what we call a "spark". I haven't found any English word for it. I had one when I grew up in a Stockholm suburb in the sixties. Nowadays you never see one of those in Stockholm. But up north, they still live on. Very practical in snow and ice.
