Christmas Eve 2022

This is Saturday's blip, backblipped on Tuesday.

This is Becky's living room before we made a mess opening gifts.  Our tradition is for just the four of us (plus 3 canines) to spend Christmas Eve together, having dinner and opening our gifts to each other.

Becky made lasagna and PD made stuffed peppers.  I made a Caesar salad and garlic bread.  Darrin opened the wine. ;-)  Dinner was delicious and very filling.  By the time we finished eating, we didn't even have room left for cookies.  

Gifts were exchanged and wowed over.  Everybody was happy, even the dogs, who were spoiled with treats and toys.  Piper doesn't like toys, so she got an extra marrow bone, her favorite.

When we finished opening the presents, we were all yawning.  We managed to have coffee and cookies, even though we were still quite full.  At around 10 PM we packed up the car and headed home.

I am grateful for another lovely Christmas with my close family!  Hard to believe this is B & D's 22nd Christmas together, and our 50th.  We are truly blessed!
