Despite the occasional snow flurries today I headed out to Webber Lake Falls. It's been almost 2 years since I was there. I found out today that they had closed the road part way in to the trail head. It made for an extra 10 minute walk there and back, but that's ok. It was a gravel road and reasonably flat.
I was talking to Cathy today and commented that Peaches seems to be much more relaxed the past couple of days. Her and Glen noticed the same thing. She knows that the ex-roommate is gone and she is happy again.
My plans for the rest of the week - a trip to Victoria Park in Truro, a visit to Peggy's Cove and a walk around downtown Halifax. I am continuing what I started doing a couple of years ago. The week between Christmas and New Years is 'me' time, when I get out with my camera and go where I feel like going.
