Jitterbug dancing...!

These dancers were SO good and one of many entertainments at a 1940's day at the Bluebell Railway at Sheffield Park, Sussex today. There was much uniform in evidence and many visitors, children and adults, had supported the theme of the day very seriously! Fantastic!

We also enjoyed steam train journeys in beautiful wood panelled carriages, cakes made from wartime recipes, musical entertainment .....and had a very happy day, even for the very little people with us!
