Arlington Avenue Christmas lights

St James, Long Island

Took a drive to see Christmas lights. This display featured children's play houses decorated with a movie theme. Some Christmas classics, like 'It's a wonderful life' and 'miracle on 34th street' and others just thoughtfully put together, like 'Up'

In the morning V took me to Stony Brook where we explored the village, saw deer across the brook and a beautiful chapel, amongst other historic buildings. We took a look around the Long Island Music Hall of Fame, which has apparently only recently opened. Some pretty familiar names amongst the exhibit and a large alliterative feature: Joan Jett's Jaguar (the car, not the cat).
