My first visit to the beach this summer and this is looking towards the channel leading to the Motueka wharf, local marina and the Moutere Inlet. As you can see it was perfect summery weather.

We took our visitor along the water front stopping to photograph the crumbling Janie Seddon then to the saltwater baths. These had been emptied and cleaned and refilling with the incoming tide.

Fresh cherries and boysenberries were purchased from a local grower before returning home for a late lunch. A relaxed afternoon followed before waving goodbye to our guest. 

This morning the stitches from last week’s punch biopsy were removed. The results were negative which was great news.
