Great day out in Portacomaro for a mother's day lunch and extended family. Then a late afternoon into Asti where they had a carnival a nice funny face from G.G. on the elastic cords...

Such a beautiful light today - a really wonderful clear Yellow light that is so rare in these parts. Reminds me of Spain or down in Sicily or Sardegna... After yesterday's storms, the air was so clean you could drink it in buckets!

On other news... Portacomaro now has a celebrated Citizen... as is the home of Pope Francis's family here in Italy before imigrating to Argentina. You can see a few pictures on Flickr. In this one, you can see the family home - you can guess which one!
