Green Door Mini-Mall

You would be forgiven if you thought this was a scene from Malawi or Kenya; in fact, this is the Five Points region of Denver. Clearly there is an imaginative community organization at work here. In fact, there is an active urban gardening movement in this city, and this local market is probably a key dimension of that. The onlooker in this photo and I share a curiosity about what is really going on here.
