A splash of colour on a very dull day

First thing this morning the weather was marginally better than it has been this afternoon …. dull, dark and incredibly damp ….. not a day for venturing out for a walk.

While washing my breakfast dishes I was thrilled to see this lone Bullfinch fighting with the six Goldfinches to get his feet on one of the perches.

Coffee with friends, a spot of shopping and the rest of the day I have spent catching up with recorded TV programmes.
