OPEN WIDE....SAY AHHHH!

It's Wide Wednesday.....and I'm taking a slight  liberty and changing the name to Open Wide Wednesday.

The Challenge is to show some Perspective. Have you ever had this perspective of a lion's mouth? just before he decided to swallow you?  And this is a young lion....those teeth will get a lot bigger.

Like in Canids (your pooch for example) the rear teeth work like scissors and "slice" off large chunks of meat to be swallowed whole.....no chewing.

Notice the tongue and all the spines on it?  Cats have a very rough tongue and this allows them to "soften up" any fun, feathers etc. before they slice off a chunk to swallow whole.  Lions don't chew...they swallow whole chunks.  The same is true for your household tabby.

Focus isn't perfect.....low light and I was thinking about the possibility of becoming an afternoon snack and I got distracted.
