Tarte Tatin!

Just made the deadline for submission of this picture, Indiana Jones style, with a minute to go.

And here she is.

(some background - my favourite restaurant is running a competition for the best Tarte Tatin - not sure what the prize is if you win but I like a challenge, and fortunately my better half is up to the role of taster-in-chief)

Picking a dish for which the main ingredient is out of season gave it a tougher edge than expected though - had to bin an earlier attempt for being too watery - it looked like apple sauce on toast.
