Stalking, sowing and sumptuousness

The day started just after midnight when walking the dog being stalked by a fox. The first extra is dark and a little bit fuzzy but as we walked on the fox followed us. And when we stopped, the fox did. Then someone came out a gate and the fox ran away.

During the day and in between downpours I got into the greenhouse to plant some seeds (main blip). It is apparently a tradition to sow onion seeds on Christmas Day. Perhaps an excuse to avoid the washing up? In any event this is the closest I’ve been to that date for sowing. I often find I have to do a second sowing later on!

Finally, we enjoyed some macarons this evening (second extra) after the home made turkey curry. They were brought from the Maison du Chocolat in Paris by our nephew’s US cousin who visited us just before Christmas when at a conference in Edinburgh. Delicious!
