Clevedon

It's Colin's birthday this week so we arranged to see him at a convenient half-way point between Stratford and Dawlish. We decided on Clevedon, a favourite stopping off point for us when we're travelling back from the chalet.

The weather was not kind, so the picnic we had planned for the beach had to be eaten in the car. This was not too much of a hardship and we chatted and watched the rain run down the windscreen.

By the time we'd finished it had eased a little so we took Dylan for a walk along the front and I took some photos, including this one of the pier. After loading Dills back into the car we went across the road for coffee and cake at No 5 The Beach.

I'm still trying to catch up with my self blip-wise including comments and replies since my return from Japan, hopefully normally service will be resumed asap and I assure you I am not deliberately ignoring you all.
