A late lunch

I went for a walk around the wetlands in Hackney to get a bit of fresh air and excercise.  It was a pooey day, rain, cold and very windy so most birds were tucked up tight in the trees.   I noticed a gull and this Coot having a battle out on the reservoir, the Coot won as it could swim under the water and made it's way to shore with it's meal which l think is a fresh water crab.
The evening was spent snuggled down on the sofa watching television - two gentle favourites on catch up - the Detectorists special and Mortimer and Whitehouse 'Gone fishing in Norway', l just love that programme.
