London
Up very early to sort stuff and pack.
The bus to Waverley was very, very busy and slow, taking aboard tourists. However, the journey to London through a very wet Yorkshire was quiet and relaxing.
Not so the underground, heaving. 'Scheduled engineering works' meant busy trains and negotiating escalators with a case, a bag and a poly bag with tonight's tea and tomorrow's breakfast, courtesy of M&S. Still raining at Blackfriars so a night in with the laptop. A phone call disturbed my tv viewing. I'll have to catch up on itv player.
Yellow fields of rape reminded me it's,early May, although outside it still feels like February. By the time I'd thought of a blurry blip we were almost in the metropolis.
