Prayer Flags

I went for a walk as the weather was a lot better today and came across these prayer flags flying in someone's garden which I thought was most  unusual in the middle of a countryside village!
If you look carefully in the bottom right hand corner you can just see a little dog face, he was barking at me!
I think the prayer flags are flown to protect the surrounding countryside.
